Welcome to Summer Term 2024

Welcome to Summer Term 2024

I hope that you have all had a lovely Easter Break, and after welcoming the staff back into school today for our Training Day, I am looking forward to the children returning tomorrow ... as are all of the staff!

The Summer Term promises to be another busy and exciting one for the whole school community with highlights to look forward to including Sports Day, class trips, PGL for Y6, Dress to Express Day, and our Leavers' Service to name a few. The children will be bringing home their Summer Term Class & Curriculum Overviews as well as their updated Target Booklets later this week, and don't forget to check out your child's class page on the website to see what they will be learning this term.

School and Class Dojo will be updated regularly with pictures and posts about the children's learning so don't forget to check it out! Could I also ask that, where possible,  you use the dojo messaging function should you wish to pass a message to your child's teacher. The staff on morning door and gate duty are principally there to welcome the children into school and ensure that their day starts well. Teachers will see the message and respond where necessary but if you want to speak to a member of school staff, feel free to call the office and they will pass the message on. Myself, Mrs Hedley or Miss Birch will be in the playground at the beginning and end of the day where possible so please feel free to come and chat to one of us at any time too.

Our Church School Value for this term is trust, and we at St Anne's are grateful for the trust that you have placed in us to care for and educate your children. It is a privilege I certainly don't take for granted and I look forward to this term being a fabulous one for you and your families, and for us as a school community.
