Jeans for Genes Day 2017

On Friday 22nd September, the children of St Anne’s School all donned their jeans and headed into school for the final day of the week. Lessons went on as normal, but the children were happy to learn in their jeans.

As Mr Shaw had explained in the whole school assembly the day before, Jeans for Genes Day is an organised annual event, usually held in September and it helps raise funds for Genetic Disorders UK. This charity helps and improves the lives of children who are affected by various genetic disorders. All the money raised by St Anne’s School went to the charity. Well done to all the children.
